Broadband On The Move
Friday November 30th 2007, 16:59 pm
I'm away in Manchester this weekend and the thought of not being able to connect to the Internet for 2 whole days has me in a cold sweat. It's sounding like I need therapy isn't it? Ah well, I'm sure there are worse things to be addicted to, right?
Anyways last night I was at a friends and she showed me her T-Mobile Web 'n' Walk dongle. You plug your sim card into it, connect it to your laptop and tada! it delivers Broadband via 3g and speeds of upto 1.8mbs where ever you are, no need to sit in StarBucks and end up bouncing off the walls from all that caffine anymore! ;)
I convinced her to lend it to me this weekend so I'll let you know if it's as good as I've been hearing.
Click to check out the T-mobile dongle for yourself!

I know how you feel!! My computer died last week for 3 days and it was absolute torture! Thinking about starting a new group called Bloggers Anon. Might get quite a few signups I think.
Check out my post about it

Ha ... I was hoping no one would ask! :/
So far I've tried it in Enfield, Warrington, Blackpool and Manchester and every time it comes up with no GPRS signal :/
I'll try it in central London this weekend and let you know :(

That sounds like a good accessory! I had something similar from another phone provider, and it had service pretty much wherever I had phone signal; however, it tended to be really slow most of the time (which would be fine for blogging, browsing, and emailing, but not much else).
I'll have to check back here to see how the T-mobile thing worked out for you ;-)
