What Are Your Valentines Day Plans?

Whoa, hold up there a second! I don't want to hear about some romantic candlelit dinner for two where you plan to place a diamond ring in the bottom of "Miss Right Now's" champagne glass. Although if that is your plan, beware, what if she's had a stressful day at work and downs the champagne in one? There's nothing romantic about watching her turn blue as she half chokes to death in a restaurant, not to mention the fun you'll have hunting for the ring as it comes out the other end. Although if that does happen, come back and tell me, because I will want to hear about it!
What I'm actually interested in is how many of you are planning to make money out of the occasion. I had a few really good ideas planned, but they involved me not freelancing for every living breathing hour of January, so the main two, one of which was an interactive flash movie / viral game will have to wait until next year. I have a few other smaller things planned though and I'll let you know how they work out.
For those who hadn't thought about it, pull your finger out! As well as the more obvious gifts like Roses, Thornton's Chocolates, Romantic Breaks, Jewelry, Balloons, etc. I suggest Affiliate Futures; Love Hearts, remember those candy sweets you used to love when you were a kid? They do a selection of valentines gifts and the commission rates start at 8%.
I've penciled in 2 weeks in March to spend making sites specifically for events like Valentines day, Easter, Mothers Day, Fathers Day etc, with only 11 months left this year I won't be letting any event slip by!

I make a valentine with silk and lace and ribbon and bling, a hand made collectable, different each year. After that, it's a romantic dinner and time to cuddle.

Sounds interesting, however I'm not that committed to the internet yet. I spend way more time than I'd like to at this computer now.
But dinner, diamonds and no choking sounds fab!

Getting a site up for every special occasion can be a really good idea if you have the time and the means to do it!
Chocolate and the works for my Valentine this year. No affiliate campaigns or anything like it!

Ha Ha I would laugh so hard to be sitting down at some fancy dinner place and see that happen. I would feel bad for her and for him for making a bad move but I would laugh at the situation in general lol.

Honestly? my plans involve not getting chocolate stains on my business shirts!
Seriously though - I have a very special trip planned with my wife. It's a good day to let that significant other know they matter to you so why not shut the world out and enjoy each other for a few days :)

Planning? lol.
I have bit off more than i can chew. and am mired on blogdom. You must be really organized, to all have the sites you have and more on the way.
I also have a new one in the worksa, it is a product blog called Yellow Sweaters (because life is better in a yellow sweater) and its set to launch on Valentine's Day, but its NOWHERE near ready.
I need to get my stuff together and round up my sites and figure out how am i going to properly manage them all. Whew!
I would love to team up with you and maybe do a promo together with some of your "Love Girls" sites. Maybe a dual contest?

I think it might be a little late for planning a full-blown Valentine's Day initiative, but some sort of last-minute "sale" or event can still be held.
And for those who feel like they missed out on V-Day, start planning for Easter!
