Digg Front Page

The traffic on LoveGirls is consistent; at least 1000 unique visitors go to the site every day. Although it gets good traffic and page views it appears that not many of the users have the Alexa toolbar installed. It's currently ranked at around the 130,000 mark, I know the Alexa Ranking isn't an accurate measurement of traffic, but for marketing purposes I would like the site to sit above 100,000 for the 3 month average.
I had a page on Internet Dreamer stumbled last week and it brought in a good amount of traffic and a large Alexa spike, it made me wonder how easy it is to get on the front page of Digg with a picture and how much traffic it would pull into the site. So, today I added this picture, crossed my fingers, and harassed a few friends.

So far it has had 43 Diggs in 3 hours, clearly I don’t have enough friends! Most of the Diggs were added in the first 30 minutes. I'd guess it needs at least the same again to make it to the front page, so it looks unlikely I'll make it this time around, I will try again at least 2-3 times a week though and let you know if I have any success.
If anyone wants to help I will happily Digg one of your pages in return or can pay 30ec to anyone that Diggs the picture in the next 24 hours. I'm sure it's against the rules of Digg, but just think, one day you can tell your grandchildren what a rebel you where when you were younger and how you Dugg a site in return for ec credits! Scandalous! ;)

I've heard good and bad about Digg..I've never seen much come from StumbleUpon, then again, it's a constant learning process with sites like that and even Facebook!

Same here, I've never dug Digg. It seems like a select few get to the front page. Stumble is a different matter- my blog has been up one day and I received 300 unique visits from Stumble Upon.

Well this sums it up those morons at Digg are way too repressed. Something is definitely wrong with those guys to delete that pic and ban your account for it. :-)

Hrmm.. The link isn't working for me either.. and my Clicker was looking forward not having to go to 30 extra EC sites tonight.

I never have very much luck with Digg either. I get about 50 visitors out of a submission, but they never make the jump and climb like most stories do.
